Magical Memories
During December and January, the Children’s Museum in Easton will celebrate the holiday season and the importance of providing good help to those in need. The Museum’s Magical Memories is a series of holiday-themed events that help those in need and raise awareness for how children and families can give back to the community.
On December 5th and 6th the Museum will be hosting our annual Kids’ Holiday Shop and Elves’ Workshop. Children will learn the joy of giving as they select and wrap a perfect gift for mom, dad, friends and family with the help of our Museum Elves. By donating, you will give kids the opportunity to purchase, wrap, and give gifts to their loves ones.
As a part of our Wonder Partners series, our Holiday Helping Hands week will be from December 8th through the 12th. Throughout the week, children will be making gifts to share with local senior citizens to brighten their spirits and put smiles on their faces.
This year, the Children’s Museum in Easton will be partnering with the Teamsters Union Local 653 for the 8th Annual Holiday Toys for Troops. Up until December 11th, you can drop off an unwrapped toy for families of local troops to the Children’s Museum in Easton. For more information, please call 617-899-9627.

The giving doesn’t stop in December. Martin Luther King, Jr. is a symbol of strengthening communities, empowering individuals, and bridging barriers. On January 18th, we commemorate his legacy by celebrating The Martin Luther King Day of Service. It is never too young to learn the value of helping others. On the 18th the Museum offers a variety of arts and crafts projects inspired by Martin Luther King, Jr. You can find more ways to give back to your community here.
We hope that these events offered by the Museum provides you and your family with a charitable Holiday Season. As you can see, there’s a lot of ways to give back to the community, and we hope you’ll take advantage of these opportunities or seek out your own! And even when the holidays end, remember there is always someone in need.
