Hours & Admission Information
2023 HOURS
Accessibility
We do not have an elevator at this time, but we do have ramps that have access to our Main Exhibit Hall as well as our MakerSpace and Birthday Party room. We will gladly assist you or members of your group as needed.
Strollers
Strollers are best left outside. When planning your visit, consider bringing an on-the-body child carrier or backpack as they are a better option considering the stairs.
Food and Drink
Food and drink are not permitted inside the Museum. It is our goal to keep the Museum safe for all visitors especially those with food allergies. During the months of April to November (weather permitting), picnic tables are available anytime outside in the Wild Place.
Partnerships
Museums for All - EBT
We are proud to participate in the Card to Culture program, a collaboration between Mass Cultural Council and the Department of Transitional Assistance, Massachusetts Health Connector, and Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, by broadening accessibility to cultural programming. We offer only EBT cardholders $4 admission for up to two immediate family members (residing in the same household). A state-issued EBT card must be presented to receive the discount. Discount is not valid during special events.
See the full list of participating organizations offering EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare discounts.
Blue Star Museum
We are a Blue Star Museum! We offer free admission for up to 6 immediate family members each year from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Discount is not valid during special events. Present an active or retired military i.d. to receive this discount.
