CME’s Building for Future Capital Campaign

Play is a Child’s Most Important Work.
At CME, we know that through play, children discover the
world, build confidence, and form lasting friendships.
Research shows that play is not just fun—it’s essential. It
lays the foundation for critical skills like problem-solving,
communication, collaboration, and creativity, equipping
children for lifelong success.

Now, We Need Your Help to “Play It Forward.”
Your support of our Building for Future Capital Campagin will:

Bring hands-on learning through play to children facing
challenges—those on the autism spectrum, in foster
care, or experiencing homelessness.

Redesign The Wild Place, our outdoor space, to promote
safe, active play, and foster a love of nature.

Renovate and preserve CME’s home, a 120-year-old
firehouse, ensuring it stays a vibrant, joyful space for
generations to come. CME was awarded a $129,000 matching grant from the Mass Cultural Facilities Fund (CFF) as part of a $6,159,900 investment into 88 nonprofit and municipal cultural organizations! This grant is subject to a 1:1 match.

By giving today, you’ll empower children and families to
learn, grow, and thrive. Together, let’s ensure that every child
experiences the joy and magic of play.
Play it Forward—Because Play Shapes Their Futures!
