Tuesday Studio
Tuesdays from 10 am to 11 am
Art is important for children especially during their early development. It engages children’s senses in open-ended experimentation and supports the development of cognitive, social-emotional and multisensory skills. As children draw, paint, and assemble, they are learning about the world in terms of color, shape and size of objects.
Tuesday Studio is all about creativity, expressing one’s own idea, trying new things, and experimenting with changing materials. It gives children the opportunity to explore on their own and at their own pace.
So, roll up your sleeves, toss on a smock and get ready to create! We'll use different mediums and processes to create art, some of which may be used in larger collaborative pieces that will hang at the Museum. Free with admission or a CME membership.
