Winter Sensory Bin

This winter sensory bin is a great way for kids to work on hand eye coordination and improve their fine motor skills which is helpful for their STEM learning!

You’ll need: a plastic bin, packing peanuts, blue pom poms, small snowflakes, silver ribbon, measuring cups and a clothespin

Instructions:

  1. After gathering your materials, place them all in the plastic bin.
  2. Using measuring cups, start working with the materials! Pay attention to size and texture. Your child can scoop some materials out with a measuring cup or practice grabbing different items using a clothespin. This activity gives them the freedom to work with the materials in a variety of ways and engage their senses!
