Spring Tulips

These pretty spring tulips are the perfect activity for the season and easy to make at home!

You’ll need: construction paper, paper straws (green or color them with green marker), a hole punch, scissors and a glue stick

Instructions:

1. On construction paper, start by drawing the shape of a tulip and cutting it out.
2. Accordion fold the tulip flower by folding it 4 times. Then, use your hole punch to put a hole in the center of your flower.
3. If you do not have a green paper straw, color your straw green before moving onto this next step. Unfold your flower and fit your paper straw in and out through the holes in the tulip.
4. Out of green construction paper, trace and cut out leaves. Glue them to the bottom of each flower and wrap them around the straw.
