Exploring Binoculars

Kiddos become young explorers when they set out for an adventure with these awesome binoculars they can make themselves!

You’ll need: 2 toilet paper rolls or a paper towel roll cut in half, paint or colored construction paper, PVA glue, clothes pegs, ribbon and stickers or other decorations

Instructions:

  1. First, either choose your paint colors or construction paper colors that will be the color of your binoculars. Paint your toilet paper rolls or cover them in the colored paper.
  2. After the paint dries, glue or staple on your ribbon, gluing each end to one roll so that the binoculars can be worn around the neck.
  3. Glue the two paper rolls together to form your binoculars, making sure the ends with ribbon are on the outside. Clipping each end of the rolls with a clothespin can help hold the rolls together as they dry.
  4. Once the glue is dry, add on your decorations! Stickers, tape, glitter – have fun with it!
