Alexander Calder Spirals – Alexander Calder, our Artist of the Month, loved to make art that moved your eyes—and sometimes even moved in the air! In his spiral drawings, he used black lines that loop and swirl across white paper, adding bright red, yellow, and blue shapes along the way. Kids can explore how simple spirals and shapes can create energy, movement, and a whole lot of fun.
