  • Wooden Sculptures

You’d be amazed what kids can create from an assortment of simple wooden shapes. With a little imagination and a lot of playful experimentation, they start seeing things most adults might miss—flipping, turning, and reimagining each piece until it becomes something entirely new. That’s the magic of child-led making: open-ended exploration that sparks bold thinking…

  • Trinket Sculpture

In true Tinkerdoodle spirit, kids dive into a joyful mix of colorful trinkets and clay, choosing shapes, colors, and tiny treasures that reflect them. Favorite hues, unexpected combos, and playful details all come together in one delightfully haphazard creation!

  • Yarn Gardens

    Yarn Gardens

A perfect fit for Kids Rule Week! Inspired by our Tinkerdoodle philosophy, young creators will use simple materials—yarn, popsicle sticks, paper, and markers—to design a one-of-a-kind Yarn Garden. We'll provide the basic supplies; they'll supply the creativity. No green thumb required—just a colorful imagination!

  • Animal World Experience

With Matt as your guide, kids get up close with a variety of his roommates, some which are furry, scaly, and quite often have four legs. During this informal drop-in, Matt explains how they move, live, and interact with him in their own unique ways. It’s always a chance to learn something new!

  • Mini Canvases

Want to make a little art? For real. We’ve got mini canvases ready and waiting—just add a paintbrush loaded with color and imagination to turn them into tiny masterpieces. Big creativity, small scale. The Louvre’s got nothing on this Museum!

  • Personal Pinatas

Even the celebrations go small this week! Kiddos design their own mini piñatas, wrapping tiny shapes in colorful crepe paper strips, layer by layer.   Take it home, fill it with treats, and you’ve got a pocket-sized party waiting for the perfect moment to burst open.

  • Sparkly Snails

It’s Mini Week, and we’re giving this diminutive critter a little extra rizz with plenty of sparkle. Because honestly, sparkles make everything better. Kids will create a swirly snail shell, add some shimmer, and then sculpt a clay body to bring their tiny gastropod to life. It’s a miniature masterpiece with maximum personality.

Did you know an ant can carry up to 50 times its own weight? These incredible little workers may be easy to overlook, they're getting the spotlight they deserve. Make your own underground ant tunnel scenes and add plastic ants to bring the busy colony to life.

  • Ladybugs in the Grass

    Ladybugs in the Grass

Our last day of Mini Week, we're celebrating the little things—and few creatures are more charming than a ladybug on the move. Layer blades of paper grass onto the backing board and sneak ladybugs in and among the greenery, just as they are in nature.
