Busy Bees
May 3 @ 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Did you know bumblebees buzz not just when they fly, but also when they pollinate? Their fast-flapping wings create that familiar buzzing sound in flight, but they also use something called buzz pollination. That’s when they cling to a flower and vibrate their flight muscles (without even flying!) to shake loose the pollen. Pretty clever, right? These amazing little pollinators are the inspiration for today’s craft! Free with admission or a CME membership, while supplies last.
