Artist of the Month
November 1, 2025
November’s Artist of the Month is French collagist, painter, and sculptor Henri Matisse. Matisse is celebrated for his bold use of bright colors and playful, simplified forms. With a childlike sense of wonder, he often turned to scissors instead of a paintbrush, creating vibrant cut-paper collages in a style sometimes called “naïve” for its joyful, unpretentious spirit.
