Chalk Cosmos

Sometimes making art means thinking outside the box. Sometimes it means smashing chalk with a hammer! As layers blend together, the artwork begins to resemble a distant galaxy swirling across the night sky. The colorful clouds seen in photos from powerful telescopes are made up of glowing gases and cosmic dust. Blues, reds, pinks, and golds can all be found in galaxies millions of miles away.
