Teddy Bear Day

Hey guys! I hope you had an awesome time at Spring Fling this past weekend. Weren’t the Girls From the Hill terrific? I love hearing them perform. I personally thought the visit from the Bristol Beekeepers and their honey taste test was really neat. Thank you to everyone who attended as well as all of our sponsors for all of their help. Together, you all made the Spring Fling terrific!

Believe it or not, it’s almost May! And do you know what happens here at the beginning of May? We get a visit from BEARS here at the Museum! But don’t you worry. These aren’t the big, scary bears that live in the wild. On May 7th from 10:30 am to 2 p.m. we will be welcoming some furry little teddy bears for our annual Teddy Bear Day! We will be trying some delicious tea, as well as bringing our little bear friends to the Teddy Bear Clinic, where your bear will be able to get a full check up with a nurse. There will be all kinds of things going on that day, so be sure to sign up so you won’t miss out on all of the fun!

Want to learn a little about teddy bears at home? Than check out our Teddy Bear Day activity page in the Fun For Kids page on the website. It has a lot of really neat stuff about bears to learn about and some activities to try!
