Picasso & Emberley Mash Up

Our Author/Illustrator and Artist of the Month are teaming up for a Halloween mash-up! Ed Emberley taught us that you can make amazing pictures by combining simple shapes. Pablo Picasso showed us that faces don’t have to look the way we expect—they can be rearranged, turned around and seen from all different angles. Put those ideas together and let your imagination take over! Create a colorful face with simple shapes, then move the features wherever you dare. Three eyes? Sure. A sideways mouth? Why not. A nose where an ear should be? Go for it!
